Kūlia I Ka Nu`u! Strive for the Highest! reflects their commitment to excellence and continual improvement in their practice and performance of hula, mele, and `Oli.

Ke Kula Kūpa`a O Ka Pakipika (Ke Kula), established in 1998, is known as Ke Kula, Kūpa`a’s School of the Pacific, based in Chicago for over twenty-four years. The school dedicates itself to providing rigorous training and education in hula, focused on the language and historical perspective of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Island cultures. The haumana (students) affectionately refer to the hula school as Ke Kula, meaning the school, while Kūpa`a signifies stand firm.

Ke Kula has achieved significant recognition and participation in various events and conferences, including the Ka `Aha Hula O Hālauaola World Hula Conferences from 2001 to 2018. Additionally, Lanialoha, a member of the school, was inducted into Kūllia I Ka Punawai (Punawai) in 2005 and collaborated on the recordings of Kalākaua CD Hula Legacy Volume I and Kapiolani CD Hula Legacy Volume II. In 2021, Lanialoha became a signatory member of Huamākahikina, a coalition of Kūmu Hula advocating for the practice of hula.

“Got Hula? Get Ke Kula!”, highlights the opportunity and invitation for individuals interested in hula to join and benefit from the training and expertise offered by Ke Kula Kūpa`a O Ka Pakipika.
