DESCRIPTION:Artist Johnnie Diacon (Muscogee (Creek)) has been working on a three-panel mural installation for the Museum of Native American History (MONAH) that depicts the Trail of Tears. This mural will effectively create a new stop on the National Trail of Tears Association map of destinations at MONAH. \nJohnnie will be joined by Charlotte Buchanan-Yale\, Director of MONAH. Together they will discuss the scope of the mural and getting it added to the list of stops on the National Trail of Tears Association map of destinations. \nRegister Below: \n\n \n\n\n                    \n                        \n                        \n                    \n\n        \n        Evanston Garden Walk 2026Free Admission Day and Pop-up MarketThe Evanston Environmental Association is hosting their annual walk through some of the most creative gardens Evanston has to offer on Sunday\, June 28th from 12-5pm. Gichigamiin Indigenous Nations Museum will be a featured public space for this year’s walk.
